Alice Zhang

I am a PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am working in the Human Signals Lab under the supervision of Prof. Edison Thomaz and am affiliated with the 6G@UT research center.

My research interests are acoustic sensing and audio signal processing for human activity recognition.I completed a U.S. Fulbright grant to Switzerland, where I spent a year as a visiting doctoral student at Idiap Research Institute. I have also interned at Dolby Laboratories and Bose during my PhD.
